Angle Fish Question

Hey ya'll,
I have an angle fish and hes missing one of his ventral fins...will this grow back..? no other fish tore it off or anything and it didnt rot away...I got him and noticed it was missing when I got home. lol

He might have been born without it, it's not unknown, or it could have been bitten off when it was young.

If there is any of the fin rays left, it might grow back, but if it's completely gone it probably won't. It shouldn't cause the fish any problems either way though.
