Hi All,

Yesterday I noticed that one of my angelfish's (1 inch) feelers looked like it kinda 'snapped' about 7/8ths down. After observing it for a while it actually fell off whilst competing for an algae wafer with a BN catfish.. Anyway - didn't think much of it, you know, got into a scrap etc.

Well today I noticed that the OTHER feeler of the SAME angelfish had exactly the same prob. On top of that - the OTHER angel had it as well. The actual fins of the fish (and all the others) look fine... just the feelers look bad.

I have a 65L tank - 2 platys, 2 angels and a BN catfish. Took some samples right away - Ammonium 0ppm, Nitrite 0ppm, Nitrate 5ppm.

Is this finrot? or am I just overreacting?

Chris

Well looking at the stocking, nothing in the tank is gonna cause damage to the angels fins except for maybe the other angels. If you havent seen the two angels quarreling then I would say its prob an illness. Post in the emergency section and I'm sure you'll get some good aswers there :good:
