are angel fish compatible with the fish in my 30gl.?

guppies and possibly some of the others are often fin nippers. I'm surprised you don't see this in your betta already. But if your betta is fine there is a good chance you Angles will be too. Might want to get a taller tank though if adding Angles. Also overcrowding will increase the likelihood of fin nipping...

thanks for the advice, i think i am gunna get a tall 20gl. later in life, i am planning on breeding, and my guppies had fry a while ago and are almost smaller than the neons,=food! lol and there a few of em to...about 18! and 1 adult female and then the neons, red phantoms, female betta, pictus, pleco, 2 platies, 3 platies, and 3 snails...ok i think i am well stocked for now i will wait a few more years!

When the pictus get larger the guppies and neons will be food

My 2 large angelfishes ate four neon tetras in less than 3 minutes but if you raise the neons and angels together they may not.

My angels nipped my betta's fins win i put him in temporarily to clean the betta's tank.
