Angelfish and Gouramis

Anybody have experience with putting angelfish and gouramis in the same tank? Do they get along? I was thinking 2 angelfish and a few dwarf gouramis in a 55 gallon tank. It would be well planted, etc. I'm just trying to figure out if they will fight? They would all be added when they were young and at the same time.

mine got on just fine!

it's a large enough tank that if they don't get along (which i doubt) they still have room to run

Recently my dwarf died of dropsy and got replaced with a Moonlight and another dwarf

I have 4 angel as well as a kissing gourami and a golden. I would not recommend the kisser as they can be agressive when they get older and may have problems with flat-sided fish.

My golden gourami is grand though.
