I might be jumping the boat here but,
I put one stem in my tank fully under the water and it has put off a new leaf.
It had no leaves when I added it, just a "bud".
It's smaller than normal and is growing slowly- but it hasnt started to rot and of course is forming roots. It's been in there um- a couple weeks maybe?
It will probably die off- but I'm watching it closely.
I wonder...
Ya think it's possible it might keep growing? Probably not, but it's fun to experiment.
