Angel Fish

Hello
My angel fish has lost one of its long sweaping angel things???

a) what are they called i can't remeber

b) Why may it have fallen off

I saw it yesterday when i fed and it was broken at the top and now its missing

The 'feelers' I think are their ventral fins. I doubt they would have just dropped off naturally. As you described their loss in 2 stages I'm inclined to think they might have been bitten off by other fish. Whats your stocking like?

I did add 3 shrim the other day but i have only seen 2 since then (don't know if the clown loaches have eaten one) but the shrimp and only 1-2cm long and really timid so don't think it was them.


Other than that 4 guppies, 5 harlequin rasbora and a gibbicep plec but all of these keep themselves to themselves

or any other advie about angels
