So I have 2 Juvenile Angel Fish in my Community 10 Gal fish tank with some other smaller fish. I was woundering if when they are bigger if they can hold there own in a tank with Convicts or is it not a good idea? Are Angel's aggressive at all when they get older? I have one pure white one and one Marble, I am thinking about getting 3 or 4 more tho cuz they seem to LOVE being around there own kind in the pet store...they even follow your finger when u touch the tank at the pet store but once they get to my tank they dont do that at all :( lol...

any thoughts?

Angels aren't generally aggressive but they will eat smaller fish if they get the chance! they might be ok with convicts especially if they grow up together, i've got mine in the a red parrot and they've been bred/created from convicts and have a similar temperament. My angel follows my finger and even eats out of my hand, let yours grow on a bit get a bit more comfortable they'll probable do the same

A 10 gallon tank is far too small for angelfish, even juviniles will soon outgrow it. yes it's a good idea to have a group of angels not jusr two to minimise aggression, Otherwise if there are only 2 they will fight constantly, especially in such a small tank

Yeah there pretty small right now so there okay for a little longer. I am going to move over all the fish from my 10 gal to my 55 gal soon tho so they will have LOTS of room later on.

I don't know if mine was a breeding pair or thought they were a breeding pair them selves lol, but had them since small in a 100l and they paired up together just like that and always tagged teamed together, they were under 2" when I got them and grew to 4" but no babies. The thing is that they were in a community setup and I read that they are very unlikely to breed whilst there are other fish around.

I put a female convict in there and they were fine together but the convicts used to chase my yoyo loach around :p so got rid of them.
