Angel Fish Need New Home

I have 2 angelfish that have outgrown their tank. Both are healthy and lively, although 1 has suffered a lot of fin nipping. It really is unfair keeping them and I am hoping to find someone with a nice big tank where they can thrive.

I live in OL3 area and would be able to arrange pick up or local delivery.

I'd say that the body is about 1 1/2 inch. They are about 18 months old. They are both silver with black markings and were chosen because they are quite nice looking. Unfortunately 1 has lost a lot of it's fins - because they are just too big for the tank and the other is boss. The boss has quite impressive fins, although 1 is a little bent at the top.

My daughter and the man in the fish shop managed to convince me that they would be fine in a 30ltr Bi orb. Although I was pretty sure they wouldn't, It's hard to resist pester power when the so called 'expert ' is backing up the child.

It really is unfair keeping them as they are, but I don't have a larger tank. I would let one go and see how the other is alone - but I think the best solution would be to get rid of both to a larger community tank.

I'm not asking for anything for them - other than a good home.

Have tried to get a pic - but they are not coming out clear at all -sorry.

Im presuming you're giving them away for free? If so, i have a fairly empty 180l they could enjoy, can collect friday, i pass through oldham to pick up sister from school. Let me know please.

The Angels have settled in well, enjoying life in the community... So much so that they've actually spawned, got 100 or so eggs which are now being tended to
