Hi I have a juwel lido 120 with standard t5 lighting and a twin aquaray leds, could I have an anemone?

now moved Ken to the right section :good:

I know that they need an established tank and high lighting. I;ve asked this in a thread before maybe try a search. My 2 t5 tubes were not enough for an anenome but I;m sure a saltie in the know will put you straight :good:

As a norm, nems are for a large, well established tanks with high wattage lights, and an experiance reefkeeper. That being said, over the last couple of months, the UK has started seeing the arival of mini carpet anemones called "Maxi-Mini Carpet Anemones (Stichodactyla Tapetum)" that come in a wide range of colours.

These short-tenticle Nem's are more hardy and require less light and only grow to 5'ish inches max, but a good article to read is here...

Hi, my profile still says "Validating" and therefore functions on the forum are limited. How can I get my provide validated?

Stu

Hi Ken, you might not be able to send me a pm due to my profile/account validation issue as I can even view my own profile, so wont be able to view PM's.

If you ok about it, post your email address here & I will drop you an email.

Hi Guys.. i have just purchased a green bubble tip which my 2 clowns hosted with striaght away . I have a 100 litre tank which has 2 t5s and 48led moon .. all seems ok .. infact it is fasinating watching my clowns darting in and out like 2 happy puppies. The only prob i have is the bubble tip is still moving about the tank . which is wierd to watch..

How longs it been in? Mine wandered for about a week, disappear in a rock, emerged the next week and settled in it's place. If yours doesn't settle in about 2 weeks consider taking him back and getting a new one. Just dont move him ever, and make sure ur powerheads are covered.
