any and all help appreciated :good:

I'll carry on searching today, I haven't looked at a few of the other families I thought they could be from.

EDIT- The second one- there's two fish that come up when I put in macrothingy. One is a type of mountain dwelling loach with no pictures, the other appears to be some kind of catfish which has pictures, but none that match. And I'm having trouble finding proof it exists...

EDIT2- Aha. Not exactly an ID, but another lead.

About halfway down there's a few pictures of 'Glyptothrax macromaculata'- a similar body shape, similar markings. Very similar, no?

A hint feeshy, they are (i believe) Glyptothorax species from the Sisoridae genus ;)

ty
for now I'll just refer to it as a glyptothorax Sp. :)
at least I know it won't be a monster fish :good:

I think the first one is a Batasio affinis
there is a similar looking one, B.tigrinus but
I'm hedging it is affinis as that is found in Mayanmar (formerly called Burma) where as tigrinis is only listed as Thailand

what do you think?
