Ancistrus Tail Slapping

Hi,

I have a small Bulldog plec and a small Ancistrus in the same tank. Occaisonalt when the two come close to eat other, the Ancistrus will slap the Bulldog with its tail.

is this agression that could cause problems, or are they just sorting out territories?

They have only been in the tank a few days.

What do you feed the fish?
How Big is the Ancistrus?
How big is the bulldog?

Im no expert but I have read that sometimes ancistrus do get a bit territorial though Ive had abolutely no problem with my pair.Hopefully this is all it is and will settle down after a few days now the ancistrus has shown who is boss
My pair live in or around the same piece of bogwood but I try and feed them so that they arent going to tussle over the same algae wafer etc.Sorry this isnt of much help but I do find a lot of initial problems do settle down after a few days.

well the fish have sorted themselves out, they give each other a wide birth. so problem ok now, thanks anyway
