amonia hydroxide? can't find amonia in calgary

if not(b)capt. canuck or freshmike you seen any?

2. and I bought some eggcrate for the base of the tank it's plastic but shouldn't be toxic right?

3. what are some things to look out for with rocks i have scavenged and plan to place in my tank? specifics questions (B) one has a bit of red it mean it's rusting is that bad? © some have some hardened clay or cement on them that I can't get off can I still use these?

i read the article on fishless cycling...
and then went to a fishstore..
funnily enough they had caught onto that idea and they sell fishless cycling kits made of amonia - but it costs more than at a super market..
i dunno about your first q, but im just gonna buy it at the fishstore anyway -

Hey vantgE I can't speak for Calgary but over here in Newfoundland I found some pure ammonia at Canadian Tire, Dollar Store, Dominion and Walmart as a few suggestions i amsure youguys have most of these stores as well. Although froom my experience travelling across the country the same stores dont always carry the same merchandise. Anyway hope that helps and good luck in your quest for ammonia
