Ammonia

Can anyone help me find some place that sells Ammonia in england please? I want to do a fishless cycle. Buying online would be fine also.. i just tried ebay with no luck. They didn't sell it at my pets at home store and when i brought it up with the one of the staff he hadnt heard of a fishless cycle..was like "you wanna be taking it out, not putting it in" he was nice btw and seemed to believe what he was saying..just said some stuff that i've read different here. Example - a 30 gallon tank we looked at and he said u can have about 40 fish in there..

Boots is your best bet, they sell pure ammonia.

There are products sold for cleaning that are basically ammonia. Just make sure it doesn't have additives and you can use that... I think you could also find ammonia at most chemist's. Unfortunately, you wont be finding ammonia at pet shops A fishless cycle to them is simply ridiculous.

Thanks i tried boots.. no luck there. I have a feeling i ll be looking through all the supermarkets cleaning sections searching for it

Hi, I recently bough a big litre bottle of pure ammonia in Homebase. The guy in there said that they've just started doing it again. Good and cheap to at £2.99

really, excellent. I just checked where the nearest store is, Im in gravesend and we dont have 1! and the 2 closest towns to me where other family live, dartford and chatham both have 1! still they are only 15 minutes away by car so its not the end of the world. Thanks alot!
