Ammonia Burn?

i did the newb two months ago and added a Betta and four Kuhliis about fifteen minutes after setting up the tank. Donny used to be a pure blue on his fins, now it's blue, white and brownish-black.

is this ammonia burn? there's no sign of rot, no chew, no tear, my parameters are fine now and the food he eats it right for him. that's about the only thing i can think of.

just curious; it's a neat effect, but is it dangerous or painful for him?

lol anything with amonia in it (Amonia burn, amonia poisoning) is usually bad for the fish

How long has the tank been set up?

the tank has been set up for around three months, and safely cycling for two.
