Hey guys,

I have been trying to gather some information on these awesome fishes. I have never seen them before but we have some in at my work. What I read is that they aren't super aggressive, stay small, and have a mostly herbivore diet. Is it true they can't handle high temperatures? Wanted to double check as I really like these guys.

Planted (hear they may eat plants) Tank includes:
Breeding pair Ram
5 Discus
1 Angel
2 Sword
1 Honey Gourami

Daily water changes, tank is at 30 degrees.

These do prefer the lower ranges, so 65-75°F (19°C-24°C) is the preferred range.

Thanks for the information BigC!! My tank is actually over 80 degrees (don't use fahrenheit very often ) , at about 82-83 (about 30 degrees Celsius.)

I might end up trying them then, and grab a pair next time I'm in work. If they don't do so well i'll stick them into my empty 10 gallon.

Thanks!!
