I assume these two shrimp can't interbreed?

I know amano and cherry shrimp get along, so will blue pearl and amano? blue pearl being similar to cherry's.

I just wanted to know for sure :)

Thanks for your time - Si

hi, amanos can't breed in freshwater (well, they can, but the larvae need salt in the water to develop), so they will be fine. and I THINK they are a different genus, so they can't breed. :good:

Yes Amanos are Caridina and Blue Pearl are Neocaridina, so they can't interbreed. FYI, Blue Pearl shrimp are exactly the same species as Red Cherry, just a colour variation, the same as Yellow and Snowball shrimp.
