Amano Shrimps

Several days ago I bought 11 Amano shrimp for my 6' tank and all they do is crowd together in the bottom right corner.

Is this normal or is there something wrong. There is algae to eat.

The tank is heavily planted.

Other inhabitants are 5 Three Lined Corydoras, 1 Otto (all the shop had at the time) and 50 Cherry Barbs.

Mine sound quite similar.. I think it might just be that they like certain spots in the tank.

I have palm tree ornaments in there.. all of them pretty much hang onto the palm trees until feeding time.

Mine are all over the place. Any bogwood or similar in there, mine tend to hang out on the wood more than anywhere else? Mine also love feeding time, sends them nuts. Have started breaking up Hikari Algae wafers and feeding them 1st as the shrimp all do a mad dash and steal a piece each and I can then get on with feeding the fish.

i sometimes find my amano shrimps grouped together on a piece of bogwood or plant, and other times totally away from each other.
nothing to worry about i'd say

Yep, my 3 do the same..they walk up the bogwood together and stuff

Just to say that a week later all my Amanos are out and about cleaning the tank like good'uns
