i when to the LFS today, there are many shrimps in a tank, there are much bigger than my cherry shrimp. mostly about 3cm. i think look like amano shrimp. There are some even bigger about 6cm, for me, look like wood shrimp. But the guy said they are same fish. I do not believe it.

I bought two pregant female, with a lot eggs. About 3 cm long. if they are amano shrimp. can i put them with my cherry shrimps, hope they will not harm those tiny guys. And i was told amano shrimp need brackish water to breed, does that mean, all the eggs will die :(

Yes it does unfortunatly mean they will die, when the young hatch they go through larval stages are need brackish to full strenght sea water in order to be raised, i dont know of anyone who has managed to do it. You can keep them with your cherrys, i do and i have no problems and i think you are right in thinking that the 6cm shrimp are not amano, they only grow to about 4-5cm.

That is bad news, i googled and found some ppl try to breed them, very complicated.

Does that mean cherry shrimp is the only one who can breed in fresh water?

Yes, amano shrimps require some work to breed, but I have read that a few people have been able to breed them in freshwater. Unfortunately, these have NOT been confirmed.
