Amano Shrimp

I heard Amano Shrimp were good algae eaters so I got some. They're cool fish to watch but they don't seem to be having much impact on my algae level. I have two Amano shrimp (other one became live food for my Firemouth Bob) but how many would be needed for a 70 litre tank to have a substantial effect on the algae levels.

Try posting in the 'Invertebrates, Amphibians & Aquatic Reptiles Forum'? For some reason not many people seem to like doing that . Anyway, for your tank i think 10-15 would be a good number .

hey i have 2 ammato shrimp in my 5 gallon betta and its spotless! maybe a few more would do it for ur size tank?
