Amano Shrimp

Hi all

I'd like to get some Amano Shrimp seeing as my Armoured Shrimp just hides all the time, but I am worried about them getting eaten by any other fish as they are quite small in my LFS. What size do they get to?

I have a 105gal (UK) tank with 2 Bala sharks, 1 RTBS, 6 Tiger barbs, 3 platties, 1 L191 Royal Plec, 1 L075 Para Plec, 1 albino Common plec, 6 Corydora Trilineatus and 2 Featherfin Catfish - these are the guys I think might chow down on them?

Anyone else got featherfin catfish and shrimp?

My tiger barbs helped devour a dozen ghost shrimp in less than 2 minutes.

In my opinion they stand very little chance. Though they are extremly fast and can to some extent "defend" themselves (by almost standing on their back legs with their long feelers in the air) - with all those bigger fish they'll simply see them as snacklets
