nope...

what size is the redf tailed shark?

about 2 or 3" :)

you'll be fine then - we have 8 in our 350l with 7 clown loached (upto 4-5") and a redfinned shark (about 3") and they are fine :)

hmm, im most worried about my angels going for the shrimp/s, as they are getting quite nippy now and attacked my female betta when i tried to put her in :/

I've heard similar about Angelfish and Amano shrimp.
Even my killifish tried to nab and chase them, but these little things are fast as lighting and actually do ok.
Guess you can just try and see - might well be ok.

didnt spot the angels... get a ghost shrim and put it in there - they are sold as food for other fish so one should be frre if you talk nicely to your lfs ;)

i ussume you are talking about a fair sized shrimp. angels shouldn't be a problem as long as shrimp has somewhere to hide, he'll probably tend to stay there and will make himself scarse when the angels are around

Amano shrimp are not exactly what I call fair sized - mine cost £2.50 each and I just about needed a magnifying glass to see them ! and as much as I love my fish, I'd be mighty peeved off if they chowed on one of my expensive algae combatting shrimp :sly:

I agree with trying the ghost shrimp but as bloozoo said, most shrimp, whether they be ghosts or amanos are really small when you buy them. They might turn out to be a good snack for a medium (3") sized angel fish. How heavily is your tank planted? If you have lots of plants, you may be ok since the shrimp will have lots of places to hide.
