I have 3 amano shrimp. 1 female, 2 males.

Normally they swim about and are always busy eating algae off leaves and sifting through the sand.

For 2 days now the 3 of them have stuck together and clung to the filter outlet. Altho I'm not there 24/7, this is definitely not their usual behaviour.

2 things have changed recently. I've always had DIY CO2, but added pressurized on Wednesday and have reading over 30ppm which is higher than what I was getting from diy.

The other thing is I've noticed the female has lost her eggs. She's been holding eggs for just over a month now. Is there like a cycle that shrimp go through, similar to humans? And dispite whether the ehggs get fertilised they release them?

Anyway, didnt know if this odd behaviour was to do with the eggs being dropped or too high CO2.

All other water params are no different to what they've always been.
