tank size is 26inches by 12 width and 15 high dont really know how many gallons it is.fish are 1 sucking loach about 4 1/2 inches 3 guppys,2 danios,1 plant shrimp,6 neons,1 inch bristlenose pleco, and 2 1 1/2 clown loachs which i know need at least a 90 gallon which i will be getting very soon but am i over stocked at the mo?

I would say you are borderline based on the current size of the fish. You are definitely over the 1" per gallon rule based on addult size. As long as you are doing weekly water changes, you will probably be ok. Just try to move the loaches as soon as you can. Also, although I haven't had any personal experience with sucking loaches, I have read that they can get pretty aggresive and start attacking other fish as they get older.

yes im doing weekly water changes 25 to 30% and the fish seem to be happy and healthy but i wont be adding any more fish till i get a lager tank thanxs for your help

Only just over stocked but should be O.K

Sucking Loach - if it hasn't already will start to see your fish as a place to hang out soon - quite literatley. If it doesn't suck them to an early death, it will stress them to the point their immune system lucks out and they catch something that does.
Think about moving it sooner rather than later.

(assuming it is a sucking loach, read this; http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=92733)

Danios - should really be in a school of 6 or more, both to reduce the stress on them and to get them in full effect. Although I haven't kept/heard danios and tetras together, so I don't know if that does away with the need for more. Incidently, what type of Danios do you have?

You are close to the limit at the mo - it will become a lot more 'unstable' as the fish reach their adult sizes too.

yes i realise that thats why im getting a bigger tank soon i have 1 longfinned zebra and one long finned leopard

there is a pic of the sucking loach on my sig its really big it has never botherd the other fish yet and is massive i guess they all have different personalitys

I'm no expert but that looks like a chinese algae eater and they are notorious for getting very mean as they get older and larger. They will start to attack other fish and try to suck the slime coat off them.

CAE eat only the slime coat off of goldfish and flat bodied fish! they will attack all other fish when they have no algae, plants, wafers... basicly if they arent fed they attack for food! suprisingly if there isnt enough algae in your tank plecos will attack fish looking for it ;) i ahve kept CAE and have never had a problem with them! they got to be about 10 inches big and the best tank mate for them is turtles! only because they can suck away at there shells and never kill the creature! :p
