Am I Over Stocked?

In my 40gallon tank I have 1senegal bichir, apair of blue gouramis, 4 giant danios, 3cories, and 1 plec(who will be in a bigger tank soon). Am I overstocked? If not anything else that can be put in there?

Bichirs can get to a foot long. You seem to be well-stocked with your pleco. When you move him, you could probably put another 3-5 inches worth of fish. I'd get more corys. Corys like being in groups of 5 or more.
