Am I a good fish keeper?

I feed my fish I Clean my tank out about 1 every 4 months, I turn the light on at 8am and off at 10pm, Thats Basicly it I set it up and leave it till I have to clean it I dont mess about with it. Thats is what do you think.?

I think im Just the basic keeper.

its good to keep a timetable and im not qualitfied to answer for freswhater really but i would clean the tank far more often than 1 per 4 months. i change my tank water every 2 weeks. (10%). but its salt water of course

I would clean your tank atleast once a week. I do twice a week.

i have three freshwater tanks and i suggest you clean your tanks out every week or at least every two weeks i have jack dempseys and a ceylon puffer they make alot of mess which is why i do a water change every week! Can i ask how you clean your tank out and what you feed your fish?

Uhh I wouldn't normally say stuff like this, but you did ask for it...

- you only clean your tank once every four months?!
- your tetras arent really in big enough shoals
- you have a fish that you dont know the name of

But when all's said and done I guess if your fish stay healthy you're an ok fishkeeper...

You could be a terrible fishkeeper because you feed too much

No, I wouldn't call you a "good fishkeeper". I think you are a "lucky" fishkeeper who just happens to have some very hardy fish.
