I have been researching loads, as you fellow reefers all know  So thanks, you all have been extremely helpful.Look Here For My Newbie Questions...!

Good luck, look forward to the journal! I don't know if you saw but about an hour ago someone put on a marine testing kit for sale. Don't know if it was a good deal or not but you might be interested?

Re: the lighting upgrade

You could just buy a T6 tube and an adapter to fit in place of the T8, you will get more light for ya watt, due to the lower levels of refraction.

very exciting :) look forward to this, only as ive recently bought an aquastart 500 ( 65l) that i was thinking about going marine with..some time in the future- just fish and rock tho, nothing like the one i have now.
i personaly wouldnt give UR the time of day!

Aha, sorry

Journal and tank are on hold due to the room that it was going to go in is being decorated. It wont be completed till the end of March. So tank is waiting.... :/
