One of my favorite wilds are the Alvarezi swordtails. It´s also a green swordtail. Depending on the dominance of the male the coloration can change into deep green or even some red markings on the lower part of the body. The way they color has to do with the location they´re from. These swordtails belong to the somewhat larger sized swordtails. In general they´re sturdy to look at. It´s a beautiful wild swordtail species. It´s also a swordtail species that likes to shoal. For not all wild swordtail species do shoal.
