I'm looking to remove all the vallis from one of my tanks, it's taking a fair beating from bristle nosed plecs & clown loaches (trying to eat it or just bashing through it, lol) so I'm trying to think of another plant to fill the space with & would love some ideas
hmm bnose plecs should not do too much damage to the vallis Im thinking right now that if the vallis gets munced or beate..... there arent other good substitutes... how about echinodorus sp. maybe ?
the clown loach does the most damage, it nibbles at the base of the vallis the BNP just charge head first into it looking for more food, lol.
I've had a bit of a look and spotted cryptocoryne balansae, does anyone have any information about this plant or had it themselfs?? I like the "grass" effect in the tank
