Aloha!
My name is mo! I live in Hawaii. I’m new to the forum, and I joined because i am also new to the aquarium hobby and have many questions and need advice. Dont know how to exactly how to use this forum yet. I just started owning freshwater fish and shrimp in April 2020. Hope to meet new fish friends and help my sick fish!
My bettah fish has been sick. I have separated him inside the 10 gallon planted tank he lives in with 4 neon tetras, one firefox, and one glowtetra. The tank is cycled and tested. 0 nitrate or nitrites. Hes been bloated. I have treated the whole tank with aquarium coop trio: maracyn, paracleanse, and ickx. It didnt do anything, so then i started giving him epsom salt baths. 1liter to 1 tablespoon epsom salt in a separate container for 30 min. I have been doing it for 3 days now. Hes now starting to poop long white strings. Still looking bloated. I think he has an internal parasite. but i dont know. im just curious is there anything else i can do to help him!
