ALL fish heavy breathing

please help! this afternoon did a 25 - 30% water change, cleaned algea off all sides of the tank and washed out the filter - all in tank water. Now all the fish are swimming near the surface and breathing heavily, really panting!!!!!! What's going on???
Only did two things differently,
1 - added 5 new plants from a lfs that i haven't been to before
2 - feed them blood worms for the first time (which were sucked up in seconds)
so what did i do wrong??? and will my fish be o.k

Sounds like their gasping for oxygen

It does sound like that are gasping for oxygen...

You need to create some surface movement if you can, to allow more oxygen to reach the water.

What sort of pump are you using?
Do you have access to an airstone?
