All catfish tank?

I currently have a 30 gallon tank with 2 otos, 3 emerald cats and 3 platies.

I am tired of the platies, and am thinking of taking them back to the petstore and getting some upside down catfish.

Problem is, my emeralds are getting bigger (about 2" now) and I know they grow to be larger than cories. I know upside down cats get to be about 4"... how many can I stock? Are they shoaling? I'd also like to get more emeralds but I dont know if I have enough room.

Ideally I'd like to have a setup like 2 otos, 5 emerald cats, 3 upside down cats. Overstocked for a 30 gallon?

mmmm well upside downs are shoalers and are very shy, i own three and see them now and again, try instead the dubawi catfish wich is small (similar to a pangasius catfish in body shape) black with a bright silver flash down the side, kinda pretty and always active!
