Alkaline pH and suitable catfish

Hiya im trying a new tank idea out and as such i would like u to provide a little advice. i would like to know of suitable cats for a tank which is 30 long 18 wide and 15 tall (inches) and has a pH of 7.5-8
Ive read that synodontids are a good choice but do u guys have suggestions?

Most catfish commonly seen in lfs's can tolerate a pH up to 8 but if you are looking for a species that will thrive in those conditions then syno's are the way to go, particually those species found in the rift valley lakes such as Synodontis petricola and Synodontis multipunctatus.

I've read a bit about S.multiplepunctatus but i have had very little contact with the others, thanks CFC, now to planet catfish!
