hey guys :)

I've seen a post like this awhile ago, but I cant find it. so.. help?

One of my 1 gals is getting attacked by algea. Other than giving it a good hard cleaning, should I add a snail or two? Im not sure if a snail in a 1 gal with 1 male betta is a good idea or not.

if not a snail, what can I add to help control the algea?

i use a sponge........nothing wrong with a bit keeps the nitrates down ...........

I don't think a snail in a 1 gallon would be good.. for one the betta might not aprove, number two, snails are messey little poop monsters and you would have to change the water doubly more than you do now. :)

ok, no snails :p They work wonders in my marine tank though, lol.

ok, I'll just manually clean it up
