alge eaters

other than a pleco wat kind of alge eater can i put with my red bellys and r their any other fish that can live with red belly pirahanas i know that some can because iv kept black cons with them but removed them after the cons had fry

well i don't know but I found this Link that suggests Astronatus ocellatus due it being found in the same places as pirahanas.

Personally I'd not take the chance and would only have RBP's in the tank.

I agree with Wolf... I think it's much safer to stick to your piranhas. I'd be worried about even the plecs - but that's just me Piranhas are ok in a species tank anyway. I mean they look fine on their own.

If your lucky the plecos will last a month in your tank. It's a good thing they only cost between $3 to $4 bucks. If you were smart (not saying your not) you would have a sick tank or atleast another tank you can put your pleco into incase he's missing a fin or a chunk of flesh.
