[Captain Birds Eye]

I have a 120 litres [26 gallon tank and was wondering how many Algae eaters could I keep to be suffecient to live!

i got same size tank with

1 peppered cory
2 albino cory
1 clown loach
1 whiptail
1 armoured cat

and do a great job keeping it clean, i wouldnt put more than that in also consider the size your fish will grow to.

what fish do you already have captain birds eye?
i have heard for algae ottos are the best for clearing it then will need to be in a groupe of 6+ they would be fine in a 120lt tank unless you already have it fully stocked. so need to see ur list then will be easyer to reccoment what to get

My list is as follows:

4x red coral platys
2x swordtail
1x sail fin pleco
1x black bellied limia
2x variatus platys
1x siemesse fighter [male]

i would say your close to being stocked specually with a sailfin plec they get big

i would imagin tho that you could fit 6 ottos in ther someone else may say diffrent tho

Otto's are great little fish,I recommend them,they do not grow too big and feed on algae until it looks like their bellies will burst.

TBH algae eaters arent that good at eating algae! as they are very omninorous in the wild, plus they get large and aggressive. I would go for the ottos, TBH.
