i've got a 30 gal FOWLR.....i have green hair algae growing and can't find any substance that can be used with invertebrates.... i have a sallylight foot and coral banded...also i have a maroon algae that appears on the wallas of the tank daily is it harmful?

what water are you using? Ro?
check water with tests. po4,
show us the results..
do you use a phosphate remover?

the tank been set up since june....ro water is being used.....levels are all fine...don't use a phospahte remover...should i look into to using it?
 
Also have u got enough flow in ur tank, low flow areas can cause this issue aswell.
 
Agreed, a phosphate remover (prefferably an iron based one like rowaphos) can only help your situation.
 
know of any algae destroyer for marine thats safe for invertebrates?
 
as said before phosphate remover is your friend i use rowaphos sponge in my external filter also make sure your RO water if you do your own is ok do you check the TDS of the water if you source it from a LFS
ask them to check it for you before you buy

how many litres/hr do your powerheads and pumps move you need 20x your tank volume ideally

phosphates feed your algea no phosphate your algea will starve :good: :good:

There's no such thing as a cureall chemical to attack hair algae :(. There are some invertebrates and fish that will eat it but they require some special tank conditions
