where has it all come from, i was gone over the weekend, and i came back and all my rocks are coated with green algae, along with hair algae, i turned my lights out and i am hopefully going to move my corals, but how do i get rid of this stuff

i would siphon as much out as i could, also cheak you nitrate levels.
high nitrates increase nusance alge growth.

like already mentioned need more info

alright here is the update,

lights have been turned off. I took all the rock i had and put it in a 2.5 gallon bucket and used a new toothbrush to scarap all the algae off, i then removed all algae from the glass and stired the crushed coral, cleaned the filter pad.

Bought two snails,

waiting on wendsday for more hermit crabs,

Will be running 4 hour lights a day

anything else i should do?
