Algae wafers

Can algae wafers which Corys seem to love be considered a staple of their diet with bloodworms as an occasional treat - or do they need more protein than the vegetable content of algae wafers would presumably deliver?

Corys like meat, they love worms- they will eat other stuff when there is no choice but will almost always eat meat over salad.

Corys like algae wafers or spirulina discs as an occasional treat, with a good quality flake food as their staple diet. Also supplement the protien they receive from the flake with live or frozen blackworms, bloodworms or tubifex. They also enjoy freeze dried tubifex and it is excellent food for them.
