algae query

Hi my tank has been running for about 12 weeks now and i have gone past the the brown algae stage but i notice now my live rocks have a hairy algae on is this a problem or will it clear or is it healthy???

Hair algae is not a problem per say. It is an indication that you may still be running a bit high in the phosphate and excess nutrient department. What kind of water do you use for top off and changes?

Also, do you have the 1+ per gallon of snails and crabs for a clean up crew?
