Just a quick query.

I've kept my Orandas for around 5 months now, with 2 butterfly plecs.

Having a bit of an algae problem just now, green algae forming on rocks etc. Direct light is to a minimum, aquarium lights on for around 10 hours per day.

Any suggestions to get the algae down, other than chemicals!???

Algae on the rocks isnt really a problem and the goldies will eat it and keep it grazed. Its actually really healthy for them to have it in the tank.

Its an underwater environment for your fish to live in, i know its unsightly to you but algae is an essential part of keeping your tank balanced.

Maybe a couple of otocinclus if the water is warm enough and the goldies not too big.
