Well, it seems my Royal isn't too keen on eatting algae it seems. I knew it was no bristlenose when I bought it but I don't think it likes any at all. Well atleast from the tank. It eats the wafers I feed it but not any green stuff hanging on my heater or any of the glass. What should I do?

lol your plec is just like mine both lazy buggers lol you could try manually taking it out or using an algae scraper

Siamese Algae Eaters are wonderful and eat all types of algae, including hair and BBA. Just make sure you don't get Chinese Algae Eaters, which neither eat algae nor are Chinese. :)
