Cyanobacteria, lots of pinned topics and recent threads about it. Cyano is a tough one cause its so versatile in its fuel sources. Are you running a phosphate binder? How old is your tank? Have you checked your RO TDS lately?
Cool, you might have to wait it out if the RO TDS is OK. If thats the case, you could have some silicates leeching out of your LR and may have to wait out the algae. Sucks I know. regular gravel vaccuming will help
M8 its just a part of ur tank cycling still (odd i know it goes on forever!) Honest ive said this to every1 thats had it and it worked for me just leave it and maybe cut down your water changes a little, because it will starve then just die i have it for months then i just left it and died within 2 weeks.
okay... turns on my RO water is spot on... I still cant figure out my algae problem... So i went to my lfs and got new tests, im now reading a NO2 level of .1 mg/L the lowest level.. but i figure that might be a factor... any ideas what might be given off no2? could it be my rock?
