I bought a java fern that I saw buried in the gravel at my lfs (don't ask why im so empathetic towards plants lol), I took it home and attached it to some driftwood. The plant isn't in the best shape and a few of the leaves have cuts/holes on them. The holes seem to have some clear kind of greenish threads/strings attached around the edges. Its almost as if it's preventing the cuts from being repaired. Is there a way I could remove these without damaging the leaves furthur? the plant looks as if it's been ravaged enough already, but I know jfs are very resilient and hopefully it will bounce back.
any advice is appreciated, thanks to those that reply!
