Algae For My Otos

i have recently seen my otos eating flake on the bottom of the tank and noticed there no algae left on tank. will the otos be ok eating the flake or will i feed pleco algae tablets to them. i have tried feeding cucumber and zucchini but its never been touched. can i produce algae or feed them it??

I've always had trouble getting ottos to eat prepared foods.

you can grow algae. Get a jar and some largish stones. Fill the jar with some tank water and maybe a little fertilizer. Added the rocks and place it in a well lit area. They should grow algae you can feed to your fish.
