Algae Flakes/tabs

Just wanted to know whether guppys and neons would eat algae flakes? Also will corys like algae tabs (not sure about this but I have heard that they will munch on them)?

Only my experience here, but when I add a sinking algae wafer for my bottom feeders to munch on just before lights out, the guppies go crazy for it, and the neons do have a nibble. My cories have shown an interest, but usually when the others have finished up otherwise they get mobbed!

I normally use a combination of sinking algae tabs and sinking catfish food, and the cories will eat both quite happily.
