Algae, Firemouths

I've been working on converting my tank to planted and something I need to know is, are there any fish that will work well with firemouths in a 55 gallon and will eat algae. I'm planning on putting a lot of plants in the tank if that makes a difference.

i have a pair of bristlenoses, and a small golden nugget in my 55g at the moment with my pair of juvie firemouths, no problems whatsoever
