When i went to my LPS i saw some fish labed as algae eaters are these otos ( looked a bit like them ) . If they are would i be able to get some to put in my 37.5l tank that currently houses 3 swordtails not fully grown , 5 shrimps and a dalmation molly. If so how many could i have. Thanks

There are thousands of fish that eat algae, be careful if you get otos they are actually otos and not chinese algae eaters(CAE's) as they can get nasty- the main other algae eaters commanly sold are common and sailfin plecs, both of which get massive.

Otos would be fine in any tank but as T-P said, make sure they are otos. Here is what an Oto and a Chinese AE look like.

Yeah Otos would be fine, but definately make sure it's not a CAE
