A 3 gallon is way to small for a Siamese Algae eater as they get up to 6 inches and require a 30 gallon tank.
Okay I am looking at a 55 Gallon for Long Term For These Guys But Do You have any ideas what can be going on

The water change will help temporarily but they will use up the oxigen again in a short time, The betta has a lung so it does not bother him that there is no aeration for the water because he can breath air but you algea eaters need oxigen in the water to breath. I would highly suggest you get an airstone and air pump if you do not have one. You can then place the algae eaters in a bucket and use the air stone and a heater if you can picked one up to keep them alive. Stress and the lack of oxygen will eventually kill them.

There is something wrong with the tank water.

Do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate every day for a week or two.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it's added to the tank.

Make sure you don't have any cream, grease, perfume or anything else on your hands/ arms before working in the tank.

Make sure there are no air fresheners, perfumes, deodorants, smoke, paint fumes, etc, in the room.

Make sure any buckets & hoses used in the tank are fish only buckets and haven't been used for anything else.

Make sure there is plenty of aeration/ surface turbulence.

Post pictures and video of the fish.
