Algae Eater

Ok if not a CAE then what about a Simese Algae Eater. It seems Pleco's are too lazy.

I would recommend Otos. Much more friendly than siamese or chinese and better eaters even when they are full grown.

And some Plecos don't get lazy, but those ones are more expensive than commons.

Otocinclus are a good choice. They stay small and are easy to keep.

I agree. I just added one in my tank and plan to add maybe one or two more. They don't bother other fish and others don't bother them. Oto's are great. Mine is pretty active.

Also don't forget they like to shoal, so get at least 3 of them
