Albino's Common?

Well i went to the LFS yesterday to pick-up my plants that i had ordered and at the same time i decided to finish stocking the 10gal that plants were going into and this consisted of 2 more neons tetras and 6 glowlight tetras and one of the glowlights i was told is an albino and i was wondering how common it is to get an albino tetra more specifically an albino glowlight cause he is pretty neat looking and would love to get more in the future

I have been able to order some in 3 times in the last few years,

Ask your LFS if they can order some in, you may just get lucky

i will definitely do that when i have room to get some and i know that they will try their hardest to get them for me cause i have a great LFS

they're just a white neon with a little blue stripe

Never uderstood the attraction of albino versions of nice colourful fish.

Albino tetras are quite common. In my LFS the ones i most often see are buenos aires tetras, pristella, neons, rummynose, black widow, congo, head & tail light, lemon and the glowlight. A couple of these are actually gold xanthistic varieties rather than albinos. True albinos always have red eyes which is a reflection of the blood in the iris which kinda freaks me out! Personally i have never liked any of them, but having said that i do currently have an albino bristlenose plec which i love!

cool! iv'e never seen an albino glow light!
in some fish, it can be common, like rainbow sharks.

yea he is pretty cool looking but i dont think he is a true albino i think he is one of them gold xanthistic variety like oakes mentioned cause he doesnt have a red eye he has a normal eye
